16 Jan 1792. LETTER REQUESTING TWIGS TO LINE MINE SHAFTS. Bundle 60, Doc 8. 23.5 x 19 cm. Remains of a red wax seal and two holes (not affecting writing) where seal was broken. Selah is in Kirkoswald parish near Renwick and Haresceugh Fell. Powlings are cuttings from the tops of trees or hedges.
