24 May 1776. SOLICITOR’S LETTER ABOUT A COURT CASE. Bundle 62, Doc 8. 26 cm x 20 cm, folded in half to make four pages. The two middle pages are blank. Red seal with corresponding hole where it was torn open. For Mr. DOBSON at Edenhall ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Dear Sir / I have rec~ed a Copy of the Writ agt. the GREENs. I wrote Mr. MORGAN by this post that you will send him a true Copy of the Writ next post as it will not be right for to send him the Original till it is known whether the Defts. appear. You will please to make a Copy of the Writ and examine it carefully with the Original so that it may be a true Copy & send it to Mr. MORGAN by Tomor Sundays post for he will expect to receive it in Course and you will not mention that you are desired to send Mr. MORGAN a Copy of the Writ.
