1796 02 : Letter requesting tench and carp

Feb 1796. LETTER REQUESTING TENCH AND CARP. Bundle 61, Doc 19. 22.5 cm x 18.5 cm, originally folded in half to make four pages. Black seal with corresponding tear/hole where it was torn open. The right edge of the letter was cut off but with hardly any loss of writing. The writer was Mrs Elizabeth WALLACE née SIMPSON of Carleton Hall, widow of James WALLACE, MP, Solicitor General and Attorney General. Mrs. WALLACE.
