Thom when he has laid on a little Plaster will now have a very good House we have got a prettey Bed Chamber a bove Stairs I hope all our work will pleas you when you see it the Bridge at Ladfoot was a bad bargain for us the Low Hebel [?] is near forty foot in length makeing the Racks [?] at the prise wood not have made us days Wage but we sawed all the Rack [or Back?] stowers out of the Planks that we set our arch upon which was doing us some good and saving Sir Phillip Wood nothing shall be waisted in the wood way that I can save you sent us Just bords a new up to make Thom ROBINSON loft good again, when you come up at Christmass if you could fix of a Plan for Joseph RAILTON Stable &c at Soulby some wood might be prepared for it this winter, I have vewed the in side of the House at Hartley Castel some of the low floors is very bad the garnet Joysts his one half of them good for nothing and they have been laid a boot 21 Inch between mid and mid and ceeling is coming down in maney places if thear wear a floor Laid in the garnet it wood make a good loft eather for Servants beds or wool as it is 5F – 9I high to the binding Beem.
