July 1776 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Dear Sir / I write to Sir Philip MUSGRAVE by this post the manner I think to be taken to get our Cause entered for Trial before theirs, vizt. for Mr. MORGAN to push the Issue or Issues to be tried in that Cause to be Joined as soon as possible and then to send the Record to Mr. WALLACE at York, Durham, or Newcastle, as may be right, and he will order his Clerk to enter it with the Marshall the first Cause or any other number he thinks proper ~ I have also answered all Sir Philip MUSGRAVE’s Letter as well as I can ~ It will be right to let Mr. FERGUSON’s Rent stand 2s “ 4d. as found by the Jury.
