09 Oct 1705. PAY FOR STOPPING CATTLE CROSSING INTO LANGWATHBY. A receipt with a small pin hole in centre and a bit aged. 3” x 7”. 9 Octr 1705 Recd Then of Chr GIBSON the sume of Nine shillings & ninepence being for my Boys lookeing to ye Chattle in Away [?] therteen Weekes to keep them from Crossing the Water into Langwathby feild I say Recd by me [signed] Thomas CLARKE
