02 Apr 1734. RECEIPT FOR BEWLEY CASTLE RENT. A small neat receipt for a year’s rent for Bewley Castle. 4” x 6”. April 2 1734 Then recd. from Sir Chris. MUSGRAVE Baronet by the hand of Mr. Lanct. SIMPSON the Sum of five pounds in full £ for half ayear’s Rent for Bewley Castle due to the Lord Bishop of 5 Carlile at Ladyday last past. I say recd. for his Lordship’s Use by me [signed] Jos.
