RELPH told me you had order’d. him to stop 3 Carts of Lime, I therefore sent for 5 Carts this Morning which your Men will take with them this Afternoon & your leading will be finishd ––– T. RELPH also says I am to set him out a piece wood for a Wicket (by your orders) to go to the Wood end ––– If your Men, Horses, & Cariage come to help Tim. to lead the long wood, I think the sooner the better as they will have to go thro’ J. RAILTON’s Meadow –– Monday will do very well if ‘tis convenient for you ––––––– I could wish Ino. POWLEY to come along with them as the Pump wood will be to cut & I think every Man is fittest to set out the wood he has to work –– I have just been at Howscales & taken dimensions of the building which is f’18 wide within – the Barn Stable & Biar is f’62 – the House f’22 & the Granary f’13 the lengths (8 lengths) 3 lengths one length I think shd. be as above markd., most of the old wood will be very useful but not for the same purpose – [signed] J.
