May 1796 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Mr. OLDMAN Edenhall ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Lazonby May 26th. 1796 Dr. Sr. / I think the fault in the Pump will be its lowness of Water you nead not send any Body to look it –– I beg above all things you’ll settle with Geo: ARNITSON about a place for me to set a Lime Kiln I shall buy my Coals on him at the price other People pay for them and shall pay ready Money for them I wish this to be settled soon because a Kiln should be built in Summer I shall want a great quantity of Lime early the next Spring we are badly of at present forced to go all Night beside waiting weary time and at 21D. pr.
