14 Sep 1790. LETTER ABOUT HARTLEY MINES. Bundle 62, Doc 31. 31.5 cm x 20 cm, folded in half to make four pages. The two middle pages are blank. Remains of a black seal with large hole and tear where it was torn open. Mr. FAWCETT about Hartley Mines 14th. Sepr. 1790 ~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Mr. OLDMAN Edenhall ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Dr Sir I have seen Mr. Jno. DAWSON about the Lead & Copper Mines in Hartley & we desire that you’ll let us have a Draft of the intended Lease before Broughhill Fair; or when you come hither, that we may consider it over & settle it when we meet – for from what you said when I had the pleasure of seing you here last I am afraid we’ve been loosing time –– I am Sir Your very h~ble Servt.
