May 1776 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Mr. DOBSON Edenhall ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Dear Sir / Having rec~ed a L~re from Mr. MORGAN this Morning, which I inclose you, it obliges me to send my Clerk to you to get from Mr. WHELPDALE Tomorrow Copies of all the Indictmts. which were found last Sessions agt. Sir Philip MUSGRAVEs People ~ I wrote you last Night to get Copies of the Indictmts. &c but Mr. MORGAN requireing Dispatch I send on purpose, for removing them ~ You will observe Mr. MORGAN also wants a State of Facts – I send you them as I conceived from your Letters. You will please to supply the Facts & Blanks. I will send Mr. MORGAN Copies of the Informations made by our CARTWRIGHT &c agt. ye GREENs w~ch will be part Justis for grounding the Actions for Assaults agt. them. You may be assured of my Lad being senet. If you can Tomorrow Shew him the Warren, High ways, bounder Stones, & the places where the places where the several assaults happened he can make us an Eye Plan of the whole – I must write tomorrow Evening to Mr. MORGAN, but I can’t tell how to address a L~re to him, of which you will please to inform me & return his Letter.
