1670s. LIST OF 3 DEEDS REGARDING THE KEPIER ESTATE, CO. DURHAM. Bundle 3, Doc 10. 37 cm x 30 cm. Folded in half, only first page written on. Very bad damp staining making the ink very faint in places. Undated. Sir Ra: CO: was Sir Ralph COLE, 2nd Bart. of Brancepeth. Many of the locations mentioned as being sold belonged to the Kepier estate, which Sir Ralph COLE sold to Sir Christopher MUSGRAVE in 1674. Sr Ra: CO: makes a Deed to Will~: BLAIKSTON Esqr & Marmaduke ALLENSON of South Bayly Ct. of ye Sheriff Close & North Conny Garth for 300£: to be pd in ye Hall of ye Castle of Durham A deed from Sr R: COLE to Mr. Marke MILLBANCK of pingle Close Trollops Close & Robinsons Haugh for five hundred pounds to be pd at Mr MILLBANCKs house in Newcastle A deed from Sr R: COLE of Brancepeth Castle to Mr Miles STAPLETON of ye North Bayliff & George DAVENPORT Clark ye North South Leases Lime Kill Closes ye Claver grass Close & ye Low Haugh
